Dandelion medicinal tea is a herbal medicine that is used for digestive problems.It helps with bile flow disorders associated with flatulence, bloating and loss of appetite.No prescription is required for this product.

The dandelion medicinal tea is used for disorders of the bile flow with digestive problems such as flatulence and a feeling of fullness as well as for loss of appetite.It is suitable for adults and children over 12 years old.Its use is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.

The active ingredient in this medicinal tea is dandelion.

Type of application

The tea is used to drink after making a tea infusion.Unless otherwise prescribed, a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk 2 to 3 times a day to stimulate the appetite half an hour before meals, otherwise after meals: 1 tablespoonful (approx. 2.5 g) of dandelion is poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and after about 10 to 15 minutes, if necessary, passed through a tea strainer.

Contraindications

The dandelion medicinal tea must not be used in cases of obstruction of the bile ducts, intestinal obstruction and gallbladder inflammation as well as in cases of known hypersensitivity to dandelion.If you have gallstones, you should consult a doctor before use.

Side effects

As with all drugs containing bitter substances, symptoms can occur due to excessively acidic gastric juice and, in rare cases, itching and redness of the skin in cases of hypersensitivity to dandelion.If these side effects occur, the medicine should no longer be used.
