Gasteo is a traditional herbal medicinal product used in adults to relieve mild digestive complaints such as bloating and flatulence as well as mild cramp-like complaints in the gastrointestinal tract. The main active ingredients are goose cinquefoil, liquorice root, angelica root, benedicta herb, wormwood herb and camomile flowers. This is a registered traditional medicinal product that has been authorised on the basis of many years of use. It must not be used if you are allergic to any of the active substances or compositae, in cases of obstruction of the bile duct, inflammation of the bile ducts and liver diseases, during pregnancy, breast-feeding and in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. A doctor should be consulted before use in cases of gallstones and other bile duct disorders. The recommended dose for adults is 30 drops 3 times a day. The duration of use should not exceed 2 weeks. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions about the use. Possible side effects may occur and the package leaflet should be read and medical advice sought before use.
