Dobendan Direct Flurbiprofen Spray is a spray for use in the oral cavity that contains the active ingredient flurbiprofen.It is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of acute sore throats in adults.The product is available without a prescription.

Mode of action

Dobendan Direct Flurbiprofen Spray has a quick and long-lasting effect against sore throats.The active ingredient flurbiprofen penetrates deep into the inflamed throat tissue and has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant effect.The effects begin after just 5 minutes and can last up to 6 hours.The spray is sugar-free and is therefore also suitable for use before going to bed.

Dobendan Direct Flurbiprofen Spray is ideal for quick and long-lasting relief from sore throats.It comes in a compact pocket size and can be easily used on the go, at work or at home.The pleasant cherry-mint flavor makes it pleasant to use.

Ingredients

Dobendan Direct Flurbiprofen Spray contains the following ingredients: Flurbiprofen (8.75 mg per dose), Betadex, disodium hydrogen phosphate-12 water, citric acid monohydrate, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (1.18 mg), propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (0.24 mg), sodium hydroxide, mint flavor, cherry flavor, propylene glycol, triacetin and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Adults aged 18 and over can use 3 sprays every 3 to 6 hours as needed.The maximum daily dose must not exceed 5 doses.The spray should not be used for longer than 3 days without medical advice.

Intake

The spray is intended for use in the oral cavity only.Spray only into the back of the throat and do not inhale while spraying.Do not use more than 5 doses (15 sprays) in 24 hours.

Notes

Contains methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph.Eur.) (E218) and propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph.Eur.) (E216).Read the package leaflet.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Pregnancy

Do not use this medicine if you are in the last 3 months of your pregnancy.If you are in the first 6 months of your pregnancy or are breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
