Directions for use of the article Jarsin 450 mg Film-Coated Tablets: - Jarsin 450 mg is an herbal medicinal product for the treatment of mild depressive episodes. - It must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to St John's wort, soya, peanut or any of the other ingredients of Jarsin 450 mg, or if you have major depressive disorder. - It must also not be used together with certain medicines, such as immunosuppressants, HIV-drugs, cytostatics and anticoagulants. - Precautions should be observed, e.g. when used at the same time as other medicines or hormonal contraceptives. - It should not be used in children under 12 years of age. - The recommended dosage for adolescents 12 years and older and adults is 1 tablet 2 times daily. - The duration of use is in principle not limited, but it should not be used for longer than 4 weeks without medical advice if there is no improvement. - In case of overdose, convulsions, confusion and sunburn-like skin reactions may occur. - Contraindications are hypersensitivity to the ingredients and children under 12 years of age. - Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicine. - There are known possible side effects such as allergic skin reactions, fatigue and gastrointestinal complaints. - The medicine should be dosed cautiously in children, the elderly and certain age groups.
