Description of the product

This product consists of effervescent tablets containing calcium and vitamin D₃ .These two substances are essential for building bones and maintaining bone health.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

The effervescent tablets are used to prevent and treat calcium and vitamin D deficiencies in older people.They also serve as an adjunct to support specific osteoporosis therapy for patients at risk of vitamin D and calcium deficiency.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each effervescent tablet contains 2500 mg calcium carbonate, 1000 mg calcium ions, 1498.9 mg carbonate ions and 22 µg colecalciferol, which corresponds to 880 IE colecalciferol.In addition, the product contains various excipients such as alpha-tocopherol, citric acid, gelatin, lactose, macrogol 6000, corn starch, methyl cellulose, sodium cyclamate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, povidone K25, saccharin sodium salt, sucrose, silicon dioxide, simeticone, hydrogenated soybean oil, sodium ions and orange juice flavor.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to calcium, vitamin D or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The product should also not be used if the calcium content in the blood or urine is too high, if you have severe kidney dysfunction, if you have kidney stones or if the vitamin D content in the blood is too high.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.The recommended dose is one effervescent tablet daily.If you take more than you should, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Intake

Please dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of drinking water (200 ml) and drink the contents of the glass completely.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you are on long-term treatment, have impaired kidney function or a strong tendency to form kidney stones, suffer from sarcoidosis or are immobilized.If you are taking other vitamin D or calcium supplements, additional doses should only be taken under close medical supervision.The effervescent tablets are not intended for use in children and adolescents.
