Area of application

Sedonium coated tablets are a herbal medicine for sedation.It is used for mild nervous tension and sleep disorders.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Sedonium-coated tablets:

Do not take the coated tablets while lying down.Please take the coated tablets whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).

Adults and adolescents over 12 years:

To treat mild nervous tension, take 2 coated tablets up to 3 times daily.

To treat sleep disorders, take 2 coated tablets ½ - 1 hour before bedtime.If necessary, you can also take 2 coated tablets earlier in the evening.

The single dose corresponds to 2 - 3 g of valerian root.

Maximum daily dose: 4 single doses = 8 coated tablets.

Take special care when taking:

In children: There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children.It should therefore not be taken by children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Safety during pregnancy and breast-feeding has not been adequately studied.It is therefore not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.

Ability to drive and use machines: Even when used as intended, the medicine can impair the ability to drive and operate machines or carry out work without secure support.This is especially true when combined with alcohol.
