Sedonium® coated tablets are a herbal medicine used to calm you down.It is used for mild nervous tension and sleep disorders.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

Sedonium® coated tablets contain the following active ingredients and excipients:

300 mg valerian root dry extract, (3-6:1), extractant: ethanol 70% (V/V).

Excipients: Carnauba wax, cellulose, gelatin, glucose solution (dry substance), hypromellose, lactose 1-water, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, povidone K25, castor oil, native, sucrose, silicon dioxide, highly disperse, silicon dioxide, highly disperse, amorphous, hydrophobic, talc, titanium dioxide, 0.03 BE Total carbohydrates.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use for Sedonium® coated tablets:

The coated tablets should not be taken while lying down.They should be taken whole with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of drinking water.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years:

To treat mild nervous tension, take 2 coated tablets up to 3 times daily.

To treat sleep disorders, take 2 coated tablets ½ - 1 hour before bedtime.If necessary, an additional 2 coated tablets can be taken earlier in the evening.

The single dose corresponds to 2 - 3 g of valerian root.

Maximum daily dose: 4 single doses = 8 coated tablets.

Intake

To be taken.Do not take the coated tablets while lying down.Please take the coated tablets whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).

Patient information

Take special care with children: There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children.It should therefore not be taken by children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Safety during pregnancy and breast-feeding has not been adequately studied.It is therefore not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Ability to drive and use machines: Even when used as intended, the medicine can impair the ability to drive and operate machines or carry out work without secure support.This is especially true when combined with alcohol.
