Description

The lozenges are a traditional herbal medicine that is used to relieve irritation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat.This preparation is registered for the specified area of application due to many years of use.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each lozenge contains 76.8 mg dry extract of cistus herb (4-9:1, extract agent: water) as the active ingredient.The other ingredients include spray-dried glucose syrup, banana powder, beetroot powder (E 162) and rosehip seed oil.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to cistus herb (Cistus incanus), other plants of the cistus family (Cistaceae) or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.

Dosage and application

The usual dose for adults, teenagers and children aged 12 and over is 1-2 lozenges every 3 hours, which are slowly allowed to dissolve in the mouth.There are no data on use in children under 12 years of age, therefore it is not recommended.There is no sufficient data to provide specific dosage recommendations for impaired kidney or liver function.

If you have the impression that the effect of the preparation is too strong or too weak, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist.If your symptoms worsen or do not improve within a week, you should see a doctor.

So far, no symptoms of overdose have been reported.If you take more than you should, you may experience more side effects.Then please notify your doctor.If you forget to use an application, do not take double the amount, but continue using it in the manner indicated.

Intake

The lozenges should be slowly dissolved in the mouth 1-2 times every 3 hours.

The preparation has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been adequately studied.It is therefore not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
