Description

The lozenges are a traditional herbal medicine that is used to relieve irritation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat.This preparation is registered for the above-mentioned areas of application due to many years of use.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

One lozenge contains 76.8 mg dry extract of cistus herb (4-9:1, extract agent: water) as the active ingredient.The other ingredients include spray-dried glucose syrup, banana powder, beetroot powder (E 162) and rosehip seed oil.

The lozenges are traditionally used to relieve irritation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat.If symptoms or side effects persist, a doctor or qualified healthcare professional should be consulted.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to rock rose herb (Cistus incanus), other plants of the rock rose family (Cistaceae) or any of the other ingredients.

Dosage

The usual dose for adults, adolescents and children aged 12 and over is 1-2 lozenges every 3 hours, which are slowly allowed to dissolve in the mouth.There are no data on use in children under 12 years of age, therefore it is not recommended.There are no adequate dosage recommendations for impaired kidney or liver function.If the effect is too strong or too weak or if symptoms worsen, you should consult a doctor.

Intake

The lozenges should be slowly dissolved in the mouth every 3 hours.

Overdose

So far, no symptoms of overdose have been reported.If you take more than recommended, side effects may increase.In this case, a doctor should be consulted.

Forgotten intake

If you forget to take a dose, you should not take a double dose.Instead, use should continue as usual.
