NaraDex 2.5 mg film-coated tablets are used to treat migraine with or without aura. Migraine is caused by a temporary widening of the blood vessels in the head. The film-coated tablets contain the active substance naratriptan, which belongs to a group of medicines known as triptans that can reduce the dilation of the blood vessels. Taking the film-coated tablets can help relieve the headache as well as other migraine symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and noise. The recommended dose for adults is one film-coated tablet, which should be taken with water. It is recommended to take the film-coated tablet as soon as the migraine headache starts. If necessary, a second film-coated tablet can be taken after 4 hours, but the daily dose of two film-coated tablets should not be exceeded. Persons under 18 years of age and over 65 years of age are not advised to use this medicine. For risks and side effects, read the package leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
