Vividrin ectoin EDO eye drops are an isotonic solution that can be used to support the treatment and prevention of symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.This can be triggered by pollen, house dust mites, animal hair or mold.The eye drops effectively relieve itchy, irritated, red or watery eyes and are also suitable for moistening the eyes and for long-term users.

The eye drops contain ectoine, a natural, cell-protecting molecule with anti-inflammatory and membrane-stabilizing properties, as well as hyaluronic acid, which soothes the eyes thanks to its high water-binding capacity and stabilizing properties.The advanced formulation is free of preservatives and buffers, which makes it particularly well tolerated.It is also suitable for people with sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers as it can be used directly while wearing the lenses.

No prescription is required for this product.It can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Vividrin ectoin EDO eye drops stabilize the natural tear film in two ways: The hyaluronic acid has a positive effect on the aqueous phase, while ectoin supports the lipid phase.This dual active principle protects the eye from harmful allergen influences and supports the regeneration process of the irritated and sensitive conjunctiva.

Ingredients of Vividrin ectoin EDO eye drops: 0.24% hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), 2% ectoine, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment), water for injections.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use: If necessary, put 1-2 drops into each eye.The drops can be used daily and as often as desired.The duration of use is not limited.

Patient information

There are no known interactions between Vividrin ectoin EDO eye drops and other eye drops or preparations used locally on the eye.After use, wait at least 15 minutes before using another medical device or medicine on the eye.

Notes

The product should be stored at 2-25°C and out of the reach of children.The one-dose ophthiol cannot be reused after opening as the sterility of the solution can no longer be guaranteed.Please discard any remaining solution.

Application

Hold a one-dose ophtiol by the labeled side and separate the ophtiol from the bar.Open the one-dose ophtiol by twisting off the cap.Tilt your head back slightly and use the finger of your free hand to gently pull your lower eyelid down slightly.Hold the ophtiol as vertically as possible with the opening pointing downwards over the open eye and squeeze the ophtiol lightly to release a drop into the conjunctival sac.As a result, close your eye, move it slightly back and forth and blink to distribute the drop optimally over the surface of the eye.Repeat the application on the other eye.Avoid contacting the opening of the ophtiol with your eyes or fingers to avoid contamination of the solution.
