Bromuc® is available in three different potencies, depending on age and severity of the cough: Bromuc® acute cough remover 600 mg for adults and adolescents aged 14 and over, Bromuc® acute cough remover 200 mg for children aged 6 to 14 years and Bromuc® acute junior 100 mg for children aged 2 and over.

Area of application

Bromuc® acute is suitable for dissolving mucus and making it easier to cough up in respiratory diseases with thick mucus.No prescription is required for this product.

Dosage

Bromuc® acute is packaged in powder sticks, the contents of which correspond to the amount required for one application.Dissolve the powder in a drink of your choice and drink the contents completely.It should be taken after meals.The powder can be stirred in quickly and is easily soluble in both cold and warm drinks.

Bromuc® acute is intended for short-term use.If the symptoms do not improve within four to five days or even worsen, please see a doctor.

Bromuc® acute is available in three strengths depending on the age and severity of the cough: Bromuc® acute 600 mg, Bromuc® acute 200 mg and Bromuc® acute Junior 100 mg.Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the following dose is recommended:

• Bromuc® acute 600 mg: 1 application once daily for adults and adolescents aged 14 and over;

• Bromuc® acute 200 mg: 1 application 2 to 3 times daily for adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over or 1 application 2 times daily for children between 6 and 14 years old;

• Bromuc® acute Junior 100 mg: 1 application 3 to 4 times daily for children and adolescents aged 6 to 14 years or 1 application each 2 to 3 times daily for children aged 2 to 5 years.

Bromuc® acute should be taken after meals.The content of one stick corresponds to 1 application.Dissolve the granules in 1 glass of water or liquid of your choice and drink the entire contents of the glass.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to acetylcysteine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The cough reliever must not be used in children under 14 years of age.
