Directions for use of Pantoprazole Puren protect 20 mg tablets: Pantoprazole Puren protect contains the active substance pantoprazole, which blocks the production of stomach acid. It is used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid regurgitation in adults. The tablets should be taken for at least 2-3 consecutive days. If no improvement is noted after 2 weeks, a doctor should be consulted. Pantoprazole Puren protect must not be taken if you are allergic to pantoprazole or other ingredients of the medicine, or if you are taking a medicine containing atazanavir at the same time. You should also inform your doctor before taking this medicine if you have certain diseases or are taking other medicines. Side effects may occur, such as headache, diarrhoea, nausea and skin rash. The medicine should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The full package leaflet should be read carefully before taking the medicine.
