Prosta Urgenin Uno Madaus is a herbal medicinal product for the improvement of prostate-related urinary complaints. It is used for benign enlargement of the prostate (micturition problems in benign prostatic hyperplasia stage I to II according to Alken or II to III according to Vahlensieck). It should only be used after a medical diagnosis has been made. The drug improves the symptoms of an enlarged prostate without correcting the enlargement. Occasional gastrointestinal discomfort, increased blood pressure and allergic reactions may occur. The recommended dosage is 1 soft capsule daily. The medicine is not intended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. It should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. In case of overdose, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or diarrhoea may occur. Prosta Urgenin Uno should be kept out of reach of children and protected from light. It contains sorbitol and gelatine. Interactions with other medicines have not been adequately studied. In case of side effects or questions about use, patients should consult their doctor or pharmacist.
