The ALLERGO-MOMELIND nasal spray, with its active ingredient mometasone, helps to specifically relieve the unpleasant symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults after the initial diagnosis by a doctor.The medicine becomes fully effective 12 to 72 hours after the first dose, so it should be used regularly.This product does not require a prescription and is available at pharmacies.

The ALLERGO-MOMELIND nasal spray contains the active ingredient mometasone furoate (Ph. Eur.).Each spray contains 50 micrograms of mometasone furoate (Ph. Eur.), (as mometasone-17-(2-furoate) 1 H2O).The other ingredients are benzalkonium chloride solution, glycerol, polysorbate 80 [pflanzlich], microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium (78-95: 5-22), citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate (Ph. Eur.) and purified water.

Area of application

The ALLERGO-MOMELIND nasal spray is used in adults for the symptomatic treatment of the symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) after initial diagnosis by a doctor.It has a strong, local anti-inflammatory effect and reduces symptoms such as sneezing, itching, stuffy or runny nose.The nasal spray only needs to be used once a day and there is no habituation effect.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

Intake

For use in adults, the usual dose is two sprays into each nostril once daily.Once your symptoms are under control, your doctor may advise you to reduce your dose.If there is no improvement, you should see your doctor.In some patients, ALLERGO-MOMELIND provides relief of symptoms within 12 hours of the first dose;However, it may also happen that complete treatment success does not occur during the first two days.Therefore, you should continue regular use to achieve full treatment success.

Patient information

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.Contains benzalkonium chloride.For use after the initial diagnosis of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) by a doctor.

Pregnancy

There is almost no information on the use of this drug in pregnant women.It is not known whether mometasone furoate passes into breast milk.If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
