mikrozid sensitive wipes premium is an alcohol-free solution for the rapid disinfection of non-invasive medical devices.The product is particularly suitable for alcohol-sensitive and sensitive medical devices and is ready for use.

Areas of application

This disinfectant has been specially developed for cleaning medical devices.It is characterized by excellent material compatibility and is therefore particularly suitable for sensitive surfaces.There are many materials in hospitals that can be sensitive to disinfectants.mikrozid sensitive combines good effectiveness with outstanding material compatibility.Even ultrasound heads can be disinfected with this product.

Application instructions

The surface to be disinfected should be wiped thoroughly with the cloth, making sure that the active ingredient solution can take full effect.Before disinfection, all visible dirt must be removed.Only small areas should be treated.The wiping range depends on the room temperature and the structure of the surfaces to be disinfected.When opening and threading the first cloth, hygiene aspects should be taken into account.After use, the lid must be closed again.This product is intended for professional use only.Serious incidents related to the product must be reported to the manufacturer and the responsible authority.mikrozid sensitive is not suitable for the final disinfection of semi-critical and critical medical devices.

Refilling the can

Before filling the can, hands should be disinfected and fresh protective gloves and a gown should be put on.During the filling process, care should be taken to ensure that the gloves are not contaminated by other activities.The expiration date should be transferred to the dispenser can.The lid is opened, the refill bag is completely placed in the dispenser container and the edge of the bag is cut off.The pre-plucked cloth is pulled from the center of the roll, threaded from below into the guide slot provided in the lid and pulled through.The lid is then disinfected and screwed on.For high-risk areas, schülke recommends not using refill bags.

The density of the active ingredient solution is approx. 1.00 g/cm3 at 20 °C.The solution is colorless and has a flash point that is not applicable.The form of the solution is aqueous on non-woven fabric.The pH value is between 6 and 8 at 100% and 20 °C of the active ingredient solution.Dynamic viscosity data is not available.

Special Notes

Always read the label and product information before use.The suitability of the product with regard to its spectrum of effectiveness must be checked separately.Disinfectants differ, among other things:regarding their spectrum of effects on microorganisms.This must be taken into account in the respective areas when selecting a suitable product.There are known cases with bacterial strains that show reduced sensitivity or development of tolerance to disinfectants.In these cases, products based on quaternary ammonium compounds may not be sufficiently effective.Therefore, for high-risk areas (such as intensive care, hemato-oncology, neonatology or burns ward), schülke recommends mikrozid® PAA wipes or mikrozid® AF wipes, which cover a particularly broad spectrum of effectiveness due to their properties, to disinfect surfaces.Wearing protective gloves is recommended.

Composition

100 g of the solution contains the following active ingredients: 0.25 g alkyl(C12-16)dimethylbenzylammonium chloride (ADBAC/BKC (C12-16)), 0.25 g didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) and 0.25 g alkyl(C12-14)ethylbenzyl ammonium chloride (ADEBAC (C12-C14)).
