Artelac® Complete EDO® eye drops

Artelac® Complete EDO® offers a comprehensive solution for targeted relief of the symptoms of the most common forms of dry eye.The eye drops are based on the composition of natural tear fluid and supply all three layers of the tear film with one drop.Lipids stabilize the outer layer and reduce the evaporation of tears.Hyaluronic acid and glycerin bind moisture, while carbomer additionally moisturizes and binds water in the tear film.

Ingredients

Artelac® Complete EDO® eye drops contain 0.24% hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), carbomer, glycerin and a lipid component.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Artelac® Complete EDO® eye drops can be used daily and as often as desired if necessary.The duration of use is not limited.Contact lenses should be removed before use and reinserted at least 15 minutes later.

To use, carefully separate a one-dose ophtiol from the strip and twist off the cap.Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid down with one finger.Hold the one-dose ophtiol vertically over the open eye and do not touch the dropper tip to the surface of the eye.Place a drop in the eye, close the eye and move gently to distribute the drop.The one-dose ophtiols should be discarded after a single use.

Notes

The product may cause temporary blurred vision after instillation, which may affect driving or operating machines.Store the product at a maximum of 25°C and protect it from sunlight.

A common cause of dry eyes is dysfunction of the meibomian glands, which produce the lipid component of the tear film.This promotes increased evaporation of the watery portions of the tear film.Targeted treatment of the disturbed tear film is then necessary.
