Lemocin against sore throat honey lemon lozenges contain the active ingredients lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate, amylmetacresol and 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and are used for the local relief of sore throat in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. The lozenges have a pleasant taste of honey and lemon. They fight bacteria and viruses, quickly relieve pain and disinfect the mouth and throat. The recommended dosage is 1 lozenge every 2-3 hours, but no more than 8 tablets should be taken per day. The duration of use should not exceed 5 days. Side effects may include allergic reactions such as mild burning of the mucous membrane and itching. Local anaesthetics and certain dyes may cause allergy, so people with relevant allergies should exercise caution. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should not use the medication.
