The GlucoCheck Gold blood glucose meter is an innovative measuring system that is suitable for everyone.It offers particular safety thanks to a wide hematocrit range of 0 to 70%, which also makes it suitable for multimorbid patients.The device has extensive connection options, including an USB-port and a Bluetooth interface, which enable a convenient connection to the PC or the DIAmant app.

The GlucoCheck Gold only requires 0.5 µl of blood and delivers the measurement result in just 5 seconds.No coding is required and the device features innovative 2+2 technology.It is also equipped with an illuminated LCD and an illuminated test strip slot.Other features include test strip ejection, Bluetooth, USB-connection and compatibility with the DIAmant app.The manufacturer also offers a free battery replacement service.

The GlucoCheck Gold complies with the DIN EN ISO 15197: 2015 standard. No prescription is required for this product.

Technical data

The measurement unit of the GlucoCheck Gold can be displayed in mg/dl or mmol/l.It has a wide hematocrit range of 0 to 70% and a measurement range of 10 to 800 mg/dL (0.55 to 44.44 mmol/L).The device is plasma calibrated and offers 1000 memory locations with date and time information.

The dimensions of the device are 90.3 (L) x 52.3 (W) x 18 (H) mm, and it weighs 60 g including batteries.The measurement conditions are 8 to 45°C (46.4 to 113°F) and a relative humidity of less than 85%, non-condensing.Storage conditions for the meter are -20 to 60°C (-4 to 140°F), while the test strips should be stored at 2 to 30°C (35.6 to 86°F).The relative humidity for the measuring system should be below 95% and for the test strips below 90.

The device is powered by 2 x 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries and has external data interfaces such as USB and Bluetooth.It offers automatic test strip and sample recognition as well as an automatic countdown function during measurement.The device also switches off automatically after 3 minutes without use and has a temperature warning.
