Instructions for use for Tyrosur® wound healing powder, 20 g
Tyrosur® Wound Healing Powder - Tried and tested for a long time
Tyrosur® wound healing powder is ideal for treating inflamed wounds. It is based on a water-soluble milk sugar base and is free of talc. The powder can be applied without touching it, which makes it particularly pleasant to use.
You probably know this situation well enough: you accidentally injured yourself, treated the wound yourself, but actually you have everything quite well under control. The big initial shock has been overcome for now, wonderfully. But now you are wondering whether you are underestimating the wound and perhaps should seek medical advice.
How do I recognize an infected wound?
Wound infections can initially manifest themselves as redness around the affected area of skin or wound. There is also often swelling in the area.If it still feels very warm (also known as overheating in technical jargon), an infection is very likely. If the injury starts to throb or even hurt, the infection may have already progressed a little further.Restricted function of the affected limbs is also a clear sign of this.If these symptoms persist for several days or even worsen, we strongly recommend that you show the wound to a doctor.
Be particularly careful with wounds caused by animal bites and heavy soiling
Also all larger wounds, e.g.B. lacerations or bite wounds from animals should always be treated by a doctor.Don't hesitate to do this, even if you think the wound from the animal bite is not very deep or large. The germs in animal saliva can be very dangerous for your body.Severely contaminated wounds or foreign bodies that are stuck must also be treated professionally. In this context, we would like to ask you to check how your tetanus vaccination is doing. If it was more than ten years ago, you should quickly refresh it!Because a vaccination against the often fatal infectious disease tetanus is really important and can be life-saving.
You can apply Tyrosur® wound healing powder to all small, superficial, slightly weeping wounds.
Area of application
Tyrosur® wound healing powder is based on a water-soluble milk sugar base and is particularly suitable for wound treatment of wounds that do not ooze much. The active ingredient tyrothricin fights the most common pathogens that cause wound infections. The powder does not clump but dissolves in the wound secretion, making it easier to use.Since Tyrosur® wound healing powder is only used on the skin, it can also be used if you have lactose intolerance.
