Desmanol care is a dye- and fragrance-free alcoholic rub that is used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.It contains panthenol to nourish the skin and is an all-season product that safely protects against infections all year round.The preparation has a broad spectrum of activity, including limited virucidal activity according to EN 14476. It is free of remanent active ingredients and is on the RKI-list according to § 18 IfSG.Desmanol care is a medicine and no prescription is required for this product.

Application

The product is used undiluted.During the exposure time for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection, the hands or hands and forearms must remain well moistened throughout the entire application period.For surgical hand disinfection, the exposure time is 90 seconds, while for hygienic hand disinfection and the RKI-listing according to § 18 IfSG in the areas of activity A and limited virucidal it is 30 seconds.

Do not spray into open flames, keep away from sources of ignition.Do not take!Desmanol care contains cetostearyl alcohol.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per 1 g solution: 99 mg ethanol 96% (V/V) and 700 mg propan-2-ol.Other ingredients are purified water, methyl ethyl ketone, cetostearyl alcohol, sorbitol solution 70% (crystallizing), dexpanthenol and butan-2-one.

Effective spectra

Desmanol care has a bactericidal, mycobactericidal, yeasticidal and limited virucidal effect according to EN 14476. The medicinally active ingredients propan-2-ol and ethanol act against bacteria (including mycobacteria), yeast fungi and many viruses.Effectiveness against viruses includes enveloped viruses such as hepatitis B virus and HI-virus.
