Lefax® intens Lemon Fresh is a defoaming and foam-preventing medicine.It is used for the relief and symptomatic treatment of gas-related gastrointestinal complaints such as flatulence, bloating, belching, cramp-like abdominal pain, postoperative gas-related pain and functional dyspepsia.It can also be used to prepare for diagnostic examinations in the abdominal area, such as endoscopy or X-rays.

One Lefax® intens Lemon Fresh granulate sachet contains 250 mg simeticone.Other ingredients include lemon flavor, malic acid, cream flavor, sorbitol and talc.

Mode of action

Lefax® intens micro granules offer a reliable and fast-acting solution for gas-related gastrointestinal complaints.The higher-dose active ingredient simeticone also helps with more severe symptoms and is still well tolerated because it only works in the intestines and is not absorbed by the body.The quick-dissolving micro granules are practical for on the go and can also be used to prepare for diagnostic examinations in the abdominal cavity.

Dosage

Adolescents aged 14 and over and adults can take one sachet of Lefax® intens micro granules up to 4 times a day, which corresponds to a daily dose of 1,000 milligrams of simeticone.Pregnant or breastfeeding women can also use the granules.The duration of use should generally not exceed 30 days.The micro granules are simply placed on the tongue, where they dissolve through saliva.If necessary, a sip of liquid can help wash it down.It should be taken with or after meals and, if necessary, before going to bed.No side effects have been observed so far.The product is also suitable for diabetics as it is sugar-free and each sachet is equivalent to 0.1 bread units.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.It is not suitable for children under 14 years.
