Instructions for use for JHP Rödler Japanese Mint Essential Oil, 10 ml

Area of application: JHP Rödler Japanese mint essential oil is used for inhalation in cases of catharrhoea of the upper respiratory tract, for rubbing into the skin in cases of muscle pain and nerve pain-like complaints and for ingestion in cases of catharrhoea of the upper respiratory tract, flatulence, functional stomach, intestinal and gallbladder complaints in adults, adolescents aged 12 and over and children aged 5 and over. Mode of action: The mint oil in JHP Rödler Japanese Mint Essential Oil is naturally pure and has a high menthol content. It relieves mild cramps in the gastrointestinal tract, has a flatulence-relieving effect, stimulates the flow of bile and inhibits the growth of germs. By stimulating cold receptors, menthol blocks pain receptors on the skin and cools swollen mucous membranes. When inhaled, it has a cough-relieving effect and liquefies stuck mucus. Contraindications: JHP Rödler Japanese Mint Essential Oil should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, inflammation of the gall bladder, obstruction of the bile duct, liver damage, gallstone disease, hypersensitive bronchial tubes (e.g. in bronchial asthma), severe reduction in gastric juice production, children with seizure disorders and injuries to the skin. It should not be used in children under 5 years of age and in children and adolescents under 12 years of age only for certain indications, after medical consultation. Dosage: Adults and children from 5 years of age take 3-4 drops JHP of Rödler in hot water for inhalation. For external use, rub a few drops into the affected skin areas. Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 2 drops 1-3 times daily on sugar or in a glass of warm water. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Remarks: In principle, the duration of use is not limited. If there is no improvement after 7 days, if the symptoms worsen or if they reoccur, a doctor should be consulted. JHP Rödler Japanese Mint Essential Oil should be kept out of the reach of children. The medicine should not be used after the expiry date. There is a possibility of stomach discomfort as a side effect, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there is any disturbance of sensation or change during use. The medicinal product should not be used during pregnancy and lactation, except after consultation with a doctor.
