Instructions for use for JHP® Rödler Japanese mint oil, essential oil, 30 ml
JHP® Rödler Japanese mint oil, essential oil
JHP® Rödler offers a triple effect and is a herbal medicine with the active ingredient mint oil.It can be used for inhalation for colds of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus, for ingestion for digestive problems and for external application for complaints in the head area that resemble nerve pain.No prescription is required for this product.
The oil contains 100% natural mint oil in pharmacopoeia quality, which is double distilled and therefore highly concentrated. It impresses with its pleasant and fresh smell. JHP® Rödler Japanese mint oil has an antispasmodic effect on indigestion such as belching and flatulence, a calming effect on nerve pain-like symptoms in the head area and an anti-inflammatory effect on the typical symptoms of a cold such as fever, runny nose and hoarseness.
Areas of application
JHP® Rödler Japanese mint oil can be used internally and externally. It is suitable for adults and children aged 5 and over for inhalation for colds of the upper respiratory tract. It can also be used in adults and children aged 5 and over by rubbing it into the skin for muscle pain and nerve pain-like symptoms. It is suitable for adults and young people aged 12 and over for colds of the upper respiratory tract, flatulence, functional stomach, intestinal and bile problems.
Mode of action
The mint oil works due to its high menthol content. It can provide relief from pain in the head area, which can occur during a cold.To do this, two or three drops can be dabbed onto the forehead and temples.
Dosage
The recommended dose for adults and children aged 5 years and over is 3-4 drops in hot water for inhalation. For external use, a few drops of mint oil are rubbed into the affected areas of the skin, avoiding contact with the eyes. For adults and adolescents aged 12 and over, the recommended oral dose is 2 drops on sugar or in a glass of warm water 1-3 times a day.
The duration of application is in principle not limited. In the case of acute symptoms that last longer than a week or that recur periodically, we recommend consulting a doctor. If symptoms occur following an overdose, a doctor should be consulted immediately. If a dose or application is forgotten, double the amount should not be taken or used.Interrupting or prematurely ending treatment is usually harmless.
Contraindications
If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, this product should not be used. The preparation must not be used for inhalation by children up to 5 years of age. There are no sufficient studies on its use in children and adolescents up to 12 years of age, so it should not be taken by older children and adolescents up to 12 years of age.
Patient information
If you have a cold, you should consult a doctor if you experience shortness of breath, fever, or purulent or bloody sputum. When used internally, patients who already suffer from heartburn or a diaphragmatic hernia may in some cases experience a worsening of the symptoms. In these patients, dosing should be stopped immediately. If you have inflammation or ulcers in the gastrointestinal area, the product should only be used with caution.
After external use, hands should be washed thoroughly to avoid accidental contact of the preparation with sensitive parts of the body, such as mucous membranes and open wounds, or with the eyes. The preparation has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.
