JHP® Rödler Japanese mint oil, essential oil
JHP® Rödler offers a threefold strong effect.The product can be used for inhalation for colds, for indigestion and for external use for nerve pain-like complaints in the head area.Japanese mint oil has long been known for its positive effects on colds, indigestion and headaches.The oil, which is purely plant-based, contains Hakka mint and helps with various ailments.It has an antispasmodic effect on digestive disorders such as belching and flatulence, has a calming effect on nerve pain-like symptoms in the head area and has an anti-inflammatory effect on the typical symptoms of a cold such as fever, runny nose and hoarseness. JHP® Rödler Japanese mint oil can be used both internally and externally.
Areas of application
No prescription is required for this product.The herbal medicine with the active ingredient mint oil can be used for various complaints.It is suitable for adults and children aged 5 and over for inhalation for colds of the upper respiratory tract.When rubbed into the skin, it can help with muscle pain and nerve pain-like symptoms.Adults and teenagers aged 12 and over can take the oil for colds of the upper respiratory tract, flatulence and functional stomach, intestinal and bile problems.If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.
Mode of action
The special thing about JHP® Rödler Japanese Mint Oil is the use of 100% natural mint oil in pharmacopoeia quality.Due to the double distillation, the oil has a high menthol content and has a pleasant and fresh smell.The oil can also provide relief from headaches that can occur during a cold.To do this, two or three drops can be dabbed onto the forehead and temples.

Contraindications
If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.
Dosage
The medicine should always be used exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.If you are unsure, you should contact a doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose for adults and children aged 5 years and over is 3-4 drops in hot water for inhalation.For external use, a few drops are rubbed into the affected skin areas, avoiding proximity to the eyes.Adults and teenagers aged 12 and over can take 2 drops on sugar or in a glass of warm water 1-3 times a day.

The product can be used for inhalation, rubbed into the skin and taken orally.
Patient information
Before taking or using the product you should speak to a doctor or pharmacist.If you have a cold, you should see a doctor if you experience shortness of breath, fever, or purulent or bloody sputum.When used internally, patients with heartburn or diaphragmatic hernia may experience an aggravation of the symptoms, which is why the intake should be discontinued in such cases.If you have inflammation or ulcers in the gastrointestinal area, the product should be used with caution.After external use, hands should be washed thoroughly to avoid accidental contact with sensitive parts of the body.Children under 5 years of age should not use the preparation for inhalation, and there are no sufficient studies on its use for children and adolescents up to 12 years of age.
The preparation has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking or using this medicine.To date, there have been no indications of risks from the widespread use of mint oil as medicine or food.However, there are no sufficient studies on the use of mint oil during pregnancy and breastfeeding.The use of this preparation is therefore not recommended.There is currently no data available on the effects of mint oil on fertility.
