Mode of action

Aluderm bandage pack medium consists of an aluminium-coated wound dressing made of polyester fleece with bacteria killer, which is sealed onto a self-adhesive cohesive bandage.This combination allows heavy secretions from the wound to be completely absorbed by the suction layer and distributed on the suction surface.The absorbency of the bandage pack is 1,400 g/m², which means the wound always stays dry.

The Bactekiller and the aluminum-coated compress have an antibacterial effect and kill germs.This prevents the formation of a breeding ground for future bacteria and germs, which prevents the growth and reproduction of unwanted microorganisms.This promotes wound healing and accelerates regeneration.

Wound rest is guaranteed because the dressing can be changed painlessly without tearing off the newly formed granulation tissue.Additional final fixation is not required.Aluderm bandage pack medium is ideal for gentle wound therapy as it does not stick to the wound, does not lint and is highly absorbent.The wound can breathe and is hypoallergenic, which promotes skin formation and healing.

The bandage pack does not contain any optical brighteners and is free of chemical binding agents.Another advantage is the preferred no-touch wrap, which enables sterile and germ-free use without direct contact with the wound dressing.This does not require any special technique when applying or changing the bandage.

Area of application

Aluderm bandage pack medium can be used in the acute care of injuries in first aid, for example for superficial wounds and injuries, superficial burns, abrasions, lacerations and cuts, as well as in emergency medicine.It is also suitable for long-term treatment of wounds.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Clean the wound thoroughly before using Aluderm dressing pack medium.Then cover the wound with the bandage pack and avoid holding the affected part of the body taut.This allows for a smooth and clean surface and prevents the dressing from hardening or cratering.The bandage remains soft and supple.

The time at which the dressing is changed depends on the nature of the wound, the amount of secretion and contamination and can therefore vary from person to person.
