Application

The Ultra tick tweezers can be used for both full and small ticks.If the tick is soaked, the pliers should be pushed laterally over the tick's body so that it is in the pliers pocket.The tick can then be pulled out of the skin with a slight twisting movement.

For small ticks, the pliers should be opened and the tick should be grabbed as close to the skin as possible.Then the tick can be twisted out.Ticks can also be pulled straight out with the Ultra Surgical Steel tick tweezers.

Removal of ticks

Removing stuck ticks can be difficult for laypeople.Oil or other substances should never be used for removal as this increases the risk of infection.The tick's mouthparts, which are incorrectly referred to as tick heads, can tear off when pulled out and get stuck in the skin.
