Cetirizine Aristo Allergy Juice is an anti-allergy medicine used to relieve nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and to relieve hives in children aged 2 years and over and adults. The recommended dosage is 10 mg once daily for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, 5 mg twice daily for children between 6 and 12 years of age, and 2.5 mg twice daily for children between 2 and 6 years of age. The solution can be taken undiluted and an applicator syringe is used for dosing. The duration of intake should not exceed 30 days. Side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache and dizziness. The medicine should be avoided in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, impaired kidney or liver function and in children under 2 years of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should exercise caution. The medicine should be used in household quantities with a maximum of 15 packs per quarter. Cetirizine Aristo Allergiesaft contains the active substance cetirizine dihydrochloride. The active ingredient works by inhibiting the release of histamine and prostaglandins, which can cause inflammation and allergic reactions. The medicinal product should be stored at room temperature and used within three months after opening.
