Using cold tablets

A blister of WICK DayNait contains blue and yellow film-coated tablets that contain different combinations of active ingredients and concentrations.

Three yellow day tablets and one night tablet are taken per day.The yellow tablets are taken every four to six hours, but not more than three per day.The blue tablet is taken in the evening before going to bed.

The tablets must be swallowed whole and with plenty of liquid.The cold medicine is intended for short-term use by adults and teenagers aged 15 and over.It should not be used for longer than four days without medical advice.If symptoms do not improve or a high fever occurs, you should consult a doctor.

What ingredients does WICK DayNait have and how does it work?

The over-the-counter medicine WICK DayNait contains cold tablets with different combinations of active ingredients and different modes of action.

The yellow tablets for use during the day contain the active ingredients paracetamol (500 mg) and pseudoephedrine-HCL (60 mg).Paracetamol acts as a painkiller for sore throats, headaches and body aches and helps to reduce fever.Pseudoephedrine has a decongestant effect on the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses and helps to loosen mucus in the respiratory tract.It can help drain nasal secretions and relieve breathing difficulties caused by colds.

Active ingredient one yellow tablet each: paracetamol 500 mg, pseudoephedrine-HCL 60 mg.

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, copovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, talc, triacetin, muscovite, titanium dioxide, indigodisulfonic acid aluminum salt.

The blue bedtime tablets also contain paracetamol (500 mg).However, instead of pseudoephedrine, they use diphenhydramine-HCL (25 mg) as an additional active ingredient.Diphenhydramine can help relieve runny nose and sneezing.

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, copovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, talc, triacetin, muscovite, titanium dioxide, indigodisulfonic acid aluminum salt.

The active ingredients in the daily tablet are: paracetamol (500 mg per tablet) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (60 mg per tablet).

The active ingredients in the night tablet are: paracetamol (500 mg per tablet) and diphenhydramine hydrochloride (25 mg per tablet).

The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, copovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, talc, triacetin, muscovite coated with titanium dioxide.Additionally, iron(III) hydroxide oxide x H2O only in the daytime tablet and indigo carmine aluminum salt only in the nighttime tablet.

Contraindications

Dosage

Recommended use of WICK DayNait film-coated tablets:

Convenient, self-explanatory blister: Take one yellow tablet every four to six hours a day, with no more than three yellow tablets per day.Take one blue tablet whole before going to bed with enough liquid. WICK DayNait is suitable for adults and young people aged 15 and over.

Intake

To be taken.The tablets are swallowed whole without chewing with sufficient liquid.

Notes

Children under 15 years of age must not take WICK DayNait.

Warnings and Precautions: Diphenhydramine may cause drowsiness.Do not take any of the blue tablets at night during the day.To avoid an overdose, do not take other medicines that contain paracetamol, have a decongestant or anti-allergic effect, including topical anti-allergics and other cold medicines.
