Summary: The medicine Levocetirizine - 1 A Pharma 5 mg Film-Coated Tablets contains the active substance levocetirizine dihydrochloride and is used to treat allergic rhinitis and hives. It must not be taken if there is an allergy to the active substance or other components of the medicine, or in severe renal insufficiency. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before taking it if certain pre-existing conditions are present. The dosage is one tablet daily for adults and children aged 6 years and over, regardless of meals. The medicine should be taken with water. In the event of an overdose, a doctor should be contacted immediately. Possible side effects include dry mouth, headache, tiredness and drowsiness.
