Directions for use of the article Azedil 0,5 mg/ml eye drops solution. Azedil is a medicine containing the active substance azelastine hydrochloride. It belongs to the group of antihistamines that prevent the effects of substances produced in connection with an allergic reaction. Azedil is used to treat and prevent eye symptoms caused by hay fever in adults, adolescents and children aged 4 years and over. It can also be used to treat eye symptoms caused by allergies to substances such as dust mites and animal dander in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. The duration of use is usually no longer than 6 weeks. Certain precautions should be observed before using Azedil, e.g. the medicine should not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients or are under 4 years of age. Side effects may occur, such as irritation of the eye. It is recommended to store the medicine at room temperature and away from frost.
