Lefax® enzyme chewable tablets are a traditional medicine that has a mild effect and is used to support digestive function.These chewable tablets are available without a prescription.

In addition, Lefax® Enzyme contains the active ingredient simeticone, which reduces the accumulation of intestinal gases.Simeticon dissolves existing air bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract and prevents new air bubbles from forming.This prevents or relieves gas-related symptoms such as bloating, bloating and bloating.

Lefax® enzyme chewable tablets contain the active ingredients simeticone and porcine pancreas powder.One chewable tablet contains 41.2 mg simeticone and 50.0 mg porcine pancreas powder.The pancreas powder supplies the important LAP-enzymes (lipases, amylases, proteases).

Other ingredients are sucrose (sucrose), anhydrous glucose (Ph.Eur.), glycerol monostearate, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) (Ph.Eur.), talc, Macrogol 6000 and pineapple flavor.

The small, round, slightly beige-colored chewable tablets have a pleasant pineapple taste.

Contraindications

Lefax® enzyme chewable tablets must not be used if you are allergic to simeticon, porcine pancreas powder or any other ingredient of this medicine.

Dosage

The recommended dosage for adults and children aged 12 and over is 1 to 2 chewable tablets 3 times daily.The chewable tablets should be taken with meals and chewed quickly and thoroughly.Swallowing quickly and drinking a little liquid helps the enzymes mix well with the food in the stomach.

The duration of use is not limited and interruption of treatment is possible.Overdosing or underdosing has no known effects.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date, which can be found on the packaging and always refers to the last day of the month.Do not store the chewable tablets above 25 degrees Celsius.

Diabetics should note that one chewable tablet contains 0.5 grams of digestible carbohydrates, which is equivalent to 0.04 bread units (BE).

Intake
