Intake
Your nasal spray has a protective cap that protects the nose piece and keeps it clean.Remember to take them off before using the spray and then put them back on again. If you are using the spray for the first time, you will need to prepare the bottle by activating the spray 10 times until a fine spray is created.Shake the bottle gently, place your index and middle fingers on either side of the nose piece and your thumb under the bottle.Hold the nose piece away from you and press down with your fingers to press the spray 10 times until a fine mist is created.
If you have not used the nasal spray for 14 days or longer, you must prepare the nasal spray again by pressing the spray twice until a fine mist is created.
To use, shake the bottle gently and remove the protective cap from the nose piece.Gently clean your nose.Close one nostril and insert the nosepiece into the other nostril.Tilt your head slightly forward and hold the bottle upright.Begin to breathe in gently through your nose and, as you breathe in, spray a puff of fine mist into your nose by pressing down once with your fingers.Breathe out through your mouth.Repeat this step to give a second spray into the same nostril if necessary.Take the nosepiece out of this nostril and breathe out through your mouth.Repeat these steps for the other nostril.
After use, clean the nose piece carefully with a clean tissue and put the protective cap back on.It is important to clean the nasal spray regularly, otherwise it may not work properly. To do this, remove the protective cap and carefully pull off the nose piece.Clean the nosepiece and protective cap in warm water and then rinse under running water.Do not try to expand the exit opening of the nosepiece with a needle or sharp object, as this will damage the nosepiece and prevent you from receiving the correct dose of medicine.Allow the protective cap and nosepiece to dry in a warm place.Put the nose piece back on the bottle and put the protective cap on.The nasal spray must be prepared with 2 sprays before the first use after cleaning.
