Travel tablets Sanavita 50 mg tablets contain the active ingredient dimenhydrinate and are used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting of various origins, especially travel sickness. The dosage depends on the body weight and age of the patient. In adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, the recommended dosage for the prevention of motion sickness is 1 tablet 2 times daily, with the first tablet taken 30 minutes before the start of the journey. For the treatment of motion sickness, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, 1 to 2 tablets may be taken every 4 hours, but not more than 6 tablets per day. For children aged 6 to 12 years, a dosage of 1/2-1 tablet every 6-8 hours is recommended, but not more than 3 tablets per day. The tablets should be taken unchewed before meals with sufficient liquid. The duration of use should only be a few days without consulting a doctor. Travel tablets Sanavita 50 mg tablets also contain lactose and should therefore not be taken if you are lactose intolerant. As with all medicines, side effects may occur, including gastrointestinal discomfort, dry mouth, dizziness and tiredness. In case of overdose, you should consult a doctor immediately.
