Vomex A Coated Tablets are coated tablets containing the active ingredient dimenhydrinate. They are used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting of various origins, especially motion sickness. The medicine can be used by children aged 6 years and over and weighing more than 30 kg, adolescents and adults. However, there are important instructions to follow as Vomex A Coated Tablets contain lactose and sucrose (sugar). The dosage should take into account the patient's body weight. Children from 6 to 14 years of age take 1 coated tablet 1-3 times a day, while adults and adolescents from 14 years of age can take 1-2 coated tablets 1-4 times a day. The coated tablets should be taken unchewed and with sufficient liquid. The use of Vomex A Coated Tablets is only intended for the short term and should be checked by a doctor if symptoms persist. An overdose with dimenhydrinate can be life-threatening and should be avoided, especially in children under three years of age. Side effects may occur, such as gastrointestinal discomfort, dry mouth, dizziness and drowsiness. The medicine should not be used in certain contraindications, such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients or certain diseases. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor. Vomex A Coated Tablets should be stored at temperatures below 25°C. If you have any questions about taking or storing the medicine, a doctor or pharmacist should be contacted.
