Instructions for use for GELUM Drops, 30 ml

Gelum drops are a medicinal product used in liver cirrhosis with minimal hepatic encephalopathy. They contain a potassium ferric phosphate citrate complex that binds the digestive toxin ammonia during intestinal transit to relieve the liver. The drops also contain L(+) lactic acid and potassium sorbate, but no alcohol. It is recommended to take 2 ml of the drops three times a day before meals, diluted with a little water. Possible side effects are mild gastrointestinal discomfort. It is important to note that Gelum drops should not be used if you are known to be allergic to any of the ingredients. There are also interactions with some medicines, so a time interval of about 2 hours should be kept from taking other medicines. Children should be kept away from the product and a doctor should be consulted immediately if an overdose is suspected. The drops should be stored at room temperature and should not be used after the expiry date printed on them.
