The sensors offer reliable results with just 0.6 µl of blood.They have a developed and patented technology that makes them highly stable to environmental influences such as temperature, many disruptive factors and medications.The sensors have a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture, regardless of whether the test strip container has been opened.The sensors can be stored at temperatures between 0 and 30 degrees Celsius.

Application

The Contour Care sensors are intended for use with Contour Care blood glucose meters for self-determination of blood glucose by diabetics.To quantitatively measure glucose, fresh, capillary blood is taken from the fingertip.

To use the sensors, plug a sensor into the meter.The device switches on automatically.Then aspirate blood and read the result, paying attention to the target range display.

Notes

The scope of delivery includes sensors for determining blood sugar.A compatible Contour Care blood glucose monitor, lancets and a lancing device are also required, but these are not included in the scope of delivery.

Storage

The sensors should be stored at temperatures between 0 and 30 degrees Celsius.They must always be stored in the original container, which should be tightly closed after removing a sensor.Sensors that have exceeded their expiration date may no longer be used.
