The aponorm® Professional Control upper arm blood pressure monitor offers a range of features and benefits.Thanks to patented technology, it detects atrial fibrillation and warns of an increased risk of stroke.The device automatically performs multiple measurements to calculate a more accurate average value and optionally also offers a single measurement with normal cardiac arrhythmia detection.The blood pressure values are clearly displayed on an extra-large XXL-display.

The blood pressure monitor meets the highest quality standards and was awarded top marks by the British & Irish Hypertension Society (BIHS).It bears the test seal of the German High Pressure League (DHL) and is included as an aid in the directory of the GKV-top association.The device is particularly suitable for risk groups with existing illnesses such as diabetes or kidney disease.

The device records up to 99 blood pressure readings in memory, which are saved with date and time for easy tracking.It offers exclusive access to the SaniQ app, where blood pressure values can be entered manually and kept at hand anywhere.The app is certified as an independent medical product and offers telemedical connection.It is compatible with iPhones from iOS 14.0 and Android smartphones from Android 7.0.

The colored traffic light system shows in an easy-to-understand way how the measured blood pressure values are to be classified according to international guidelines.The automatic average calculation provides a quick overview of the average blood pressure value.The device warns if there are excessive movements during the measurement or if there are problems with the cuff in order to avoid incorrect measurement results.

The blood pressure monitor can also be operated via the mains power supply.A suitable power adapter is available separately.
