The NeilMed Sinus Rinse nasal shower helps with complaints such as allergies, hay fever, stuffy nose and nasal symptoms associated with flu and colds.It is suitable for all age groups and offers reliable support for nasal allergies, dryness, hay fever, pressure in the paranasal sinuses, stuffy nose, nasal problems with flu and colds as well as irritation and inflammation caused by environmental influences such as dust, fumes, animal hair, pollen or smoke.

The NeilMed Sinus Rinse nasal douche contains the following ingredients: sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate.One sachet contains 2.4 g of these substances.The package contents include a pressure bottle, 10 sachets of nasal rinse salt and instructions for use.

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.In addition, the nasal douche should not be used if you have existing ear infections.

Dosage

For daily nasal care, rinsing once or twice a day is recommended.If the symptoms become more severe, the application can be increased to three to five times per day.For normal care, one sachet (2.4 g) in 240 ml of water is sufficient to create an isotonic solution.For more severe nasal complaints such as inflammation or irritation, the use of two sachets (4.8 g) per 240 ml of water for a hypertonic solution is recommended.

Application

Fill the pressure bottle up to the line with 240 ml of body-warm water.Add the contents of a dosing sachet and wait for the contents to dissolve.Over the sink, alternately hold the tip of the bottle under one nostril and gently press the bottle until the salt water rinses your nose and flows out of the other nostril.Keep your mouth wide open while rinsing to prevent water from entering the back of your throat.After rinsing, you can turn the head over the sink to the right and left a few times to drain even small amounts of the salt solution.You can then carefully blow your nose out.

Notes

The product must not be shared with other people.It contains small parts and should be kept out of the reach of children.The nasal douche should be cleaned regularly to ensure hygiene.Do not use pure water or sea salt/table salt for rinsing as this can irritate the nasal mucous membranes.Nasal irrigation should not be used if you have an existing ear infection or a completely blocked nose.If you have had surgery on your ears or sinuses, you should consult your doctor before use.

To clean the nasal douche, use a few drops of detergent and fill the bottle with warm water.Screw the tip with the hose back onto the bottle, hold the opening closed with a finger and shake the bottle vigorously.Squeeze the bottle and empty the cleaning water through the hose with the bottle tip.Rinse the bottle again with clean water and allow it to air dry.Additionally, after cleaning, you can place the bottle and all parts in the microwave for 40 seconds to make them virtually germ-free.We recommend not cleaning the nasal douche in the dishwasher.
