Azelastine Micro Labs 0.5 mg/ml eye drops is a medicine used to treat and prevent eye discomfort caused by allergic reactions. The active ingredient in this medicine is azelastine hydrochloride. It belongs to the group of antihistamines that prevent the effects of substances produced during allergic reactions. Azelastine reduces inflammation of the eye. It is successfully used to treat seasonal allergic conjunctivitis caused by hay fever in adults and children aged 4 years and older. It can also be used to treat non-seasonal allergic conjunctivitis caused by allergies to substances such as dust mites and animal dander in adults and children 12 years and older. The medicine is not suitable for the treatment of eye infections. The recommended dosage is one drop in each eye in the morning and evening. The duration of use should not exceed 6 weeks. Irritation of the eye may occur. The medicine must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the active substance or other ingredients.
