Instructions for use for TETESEPT Diarrhoea Acute Tablets, 20 Capsules

Tetesept Diarrhoea Acute Tablets: Tetesept Diarrhoea Acute Tablets contain the active ingredient tannin protein and are used to support the treatment of acute, non-specific diarrhoea, such as summer and travellers' diarrhoea. It is recommended to seek medical advice after 3-4 days if there is no improvement or the condition worsens. The dosage for adults and older children is 1-2 tablets every 2 hours (maximum 12 tablets per day) until effective. The duration of use should not usually exceed 3-4 days. There are no known overdose symptoms and the intake can be continued at the next prescribed time if forgotten. Use is not suitable for children under 12 years of age, unless prescribed by a doctor. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor or pharmacist before use. Side effects may occur, although they have only been observed in exceptional cases. Tetesept Diarrhoea Acute Tablets should be protected from moisture and stored in a dark place. More information is available in the package leaflet.
