Instructions for use for CONTRAMUTAN Syrup, 100 ml

Contramutan syrup is a homeopathic medicine for the treatment of colds. It is used for febrile flu-like infections with inflammation of the upper airways. The syrup contains the active ingredients Eupatorium perfoliatum (water astragalus), Aconitum Dil. D4, Belladonna Dil. D4 and Echinacea. The recommended dosage depends on the body weight and is between 2.5 ml and 5 ml, up to a maximum of 12 times a day. The liquid is taken undiluted and left in the mouth for some time before swallowing. The duration of use depends on the therapeutic need, but should not exceed 2 weeks. The medicinal product contains alcohol and should therefore not be used in cases of liver disease and other contraindications. Side effects may include skin rash, itching, swelling of the face, shortness of breath, dizziness and drop in blood pressure. Store at room temperature. There is an intolerance to sucrose.
