Area of application
Binko® Memo 120 mg film-coated tablets are used for forgetfulness or lack of concentration.They are used to support age-related cognitive impairments and to improve quality of life in mild dementia.
Active ingredients and ingredients
Each film-coated tablet contains 120 mg of dry ginkgo leaf extract, extracted with acetone-water (35-67:1).The specific ingredients include:
Ginkgo flavon glycosides: 29.4 mg
Ginkgolides A, B, C (ratio x:y:z): 3.36-4.08 mg
Bilobalide: 3.12-3.84 mg
Ginkgolic acids: maximum 0.6 µg
Other components are:
Croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose-1 water, magnesium stearate (vegetable), microcrystalline cellulose, spray-dried glucose syrup, macrogol 3350, poly(vinyl alcohol), talc, titanium dioxide, yellow iron (III) oxide hydrate.
Dosage and intake
Adults aged 18 years and over take one film-coated tablet whole, unchewed, with liquid twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.It can be taken regardless of meals.Treatment should last at least 8 weeks.If there is no improvement after 3 months or symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted.
Contraindications
If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take the film-coated tablets.
Patient information
Before taking it, you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have a pathological increased bleeding tendency, are taking blood-thinning medication, suffer from epilepsy, are planning an operation in the next 3 to 4 days or are taking efavirenz.If symptoms worsen during treatment, please consult a doctor or pharmacist.The medicine is not approved for children and adolescents.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.Since preparations containing ginkgo could increase the risk of bleeding, this medicine must not be taken during pregnancy.The medicine should not be used during breastfeeding as there are no sufficient studies available.

Contains lactose, glucose and sodium.Store drug out of reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
