Lomatuell Pro is a gel-forming contact mesh specifically developed for wound care.It is characterized by a recommended dressing change interval of 2 to 4 days.However, depending on the type and healing progress of the wound, the bandage can be left on the wound for a longer period of time, up to a maximum of 7 days, or for a shorter period of time.

The product consists of a polyester fiber mesh tulle impregnated with a coating compound.This coating is composed of a polymer matrix, an elastically deformable fixing compound, petroleum jelly and hydrocolloid.

Lomatuell Pro is suitable for different wound healing phases, including the exudation phase, the granulation phase and the epithelialization phase.It is suitable for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and pressure sores as well as acute wounds such as lacerations, cuts and abrasions as well as second degree burns.It can also be used for post-surgical wounds, such as secondary healing OP-wounds and split-thickness skin donor sites.Based on in-vitro studies, it can also be combined with negative pressure therapy as a wound distance grid.

The properties of Lomatuell Pro include the formation of a gel layer made of petroleum jelly and hydrocolloid particles, atraumatic dressing changes, easy application and bilateral applicability.The material can be cut to suit different wound sizes and areas of the body and supports wound healing.It minimizes the risk of adhesion to the wound, is flexible and supple and enables good exudate drainage into the secondary dressing.In addition, changing the dressing is painless.
