Information for use, dosage and directions for use and contraindications to the article "Bromhexin Hermes Arzneimittel 12 mg/ml drops": - Bromhexin Hermes Arzneimittel® 12 mg/ml drops are a bronchosecretolytic for the loosening of mucus in respiratory diseases with viscous mucus. They are used for the expectorant treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs. - The recommended dose for adults and adolescents over 14 years of age is 15 to 30 drops 3 times a day. Children and adolescents between 6 and 14 years and patients under 50 kg body weight take 15 drops 3 times daily. Children between 2 and 6 years of age take 8 drops 3 times a day. - The medicine is taken undiluted, regardless of the meal. It should not be used for more than 4-5 days without medical advice. An overdose may cause vomiting, visual disturbances, impaired consciousness and accelerated breathing. - The medicine must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
