Directions for use of the article NasoDirect Nasal Spray with Captomucil NasoDirect Nasal Spray with CAPTOMUCIL® is used for the treatment of respiratory diseases associated with increased mucus production, such as colds, rhinitis, acute or chronic rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis. CAPTOMUCIL® reduces the viscosity of the excess mucus and promotes rapid drainage. A study at the University of Münster confirms the rapid effect within 30 seconds. The hypertonic solution enhances the decongestant effect of CAPTOMUCIL®. The recommended dosage for adults and children 12 years and older is 1-2 sprays per nostril, 3-4 times daily. For children from 6 to 12 years, it is up to 2 times a day. Consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is recommended before use in children under 12 years of age. The product should be stored in a cool, dry place and should not be used beyond the expiry date. The ingredients of the nasal spray are CAPTOMUCIL®, water, sodium saccharin, sodium chloride, mint flavouring, dexpanthenol and sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate.
