Levocetirizine Micro Labs 5 mg film-coated tablets is used for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis, including persistent allergic rhinitis, and urticaria in adults and children aged 6 years and over.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to levocetirizine dihydrochloride, cetirizine, hydroxyzine, other piperazine derivatives or any of the other ingredients, the product should not be used.Its use is also not recommended in cases of severe renal insufficiency with a creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the recommended dose for adults and children over 6 years of age is 1 film-coated tablet daily.The tablet should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid, such as a glass of water.It can be taken with or without meals.
