Area of application

Levocetirizine Micro Labs 5 mg film-coated tablets is used to treat allergic rhinitis (including persistent allergic rhinitis) and hives (urticaria) in adults and children aged 6 years and over.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

Levocetirizine Micro Labs 5 mg film-coated tablets should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or in severe renal insufficiency with a creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min.

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults and children over 6 years of age is 1 film-coated tablet daily.The tablet should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid, such as a glass of water.It can be taken with or without meals.
