The Emser® inhalation solution hypertonic 4% is used to treat diseases of the lower respiratory tract that are associated with solidification of mucus.These include, for example, acute bronchitis, acute bronchiolitis and cystic fibrosis.It serves to gently increase secretion mobilization and can also be used as a carrier solution for the inhalation of other inhaled medications such as:B. beta-sympathomimetics and anticholinergics can be used.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Natural Emser salt consists of more than 30 minerals and trace elements, including sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, fluoride and sulfate ions.Hydrogen carbonate ions make up the largest proportion, which is why a solution of natural Emser salt is slightly alkaline (pH 8-10).

Ingredients per 5 ml solution (= 1 ampoule): 197.5 mg natural Emser salt.Other ingredients: purified water.

Application

Emser® inhalation solutions are sterile aqueous solutions with natural Emser salt.They are free of preservatives and can be used in suitable electric nebulizers.Suitable for adults, teenagers and children aged 1 year and over.Before use on children under 6 years, please speak to a doctor.

The first use should be under medical supervision, especially in patients with hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract and in children.
