EMSER® Inhalation solution hypertonic 4 %

The Emser® inhalation solution hypertonic 4% is used to treat diseases of the lower respiratory tract that are associated with solidification of mucus.These include, for example, acute bronchitis, acute bronchiolitis, chronic bronchitis and cystic fibrosis.It serves to gently increase secretion mobilization and can also be used as a carrier solution for the inhalation of other inhaled medications.Please note the instructions for use.

The Emser® inhalation solution hypertonic 4% can be used for various diseases of the lower respiratory tract that are associated with increased mucus solidification.The solution promotes the self-cleaning of the mucous membranes by activating the ciliated cells and by actively loosening the solidified mucus.Coughing up the mucus becomes easier.

The solution is particularly suitable for use with:

Diseases of the lower respiratory tract, which are accompanied by mucus solidification and require a gentle increase in secretion mobilization.

Cystic fibrosis (cystic fibrosis).

Acute bronchitis.

Natural Emser salt consists of more than 30 minerals and trace elements that characterize the salt.In addition to sodium and chloride ions, it contains minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, fluoride and sulfate.Hydrogen carbonate ions make up the largest proportion, which is why a solution of natural Emser salt is slightly alkaline (pH 8-10).

Ingredients of the Emser® inhalation solution hypertonic 4 %:

100 ml of solution contains 3.95 g of natural Emser salt and purified water.

Ingredients per 5 ml solution (= 1 ampoule): 197.5 mg natural Emser salt.

Other ingredients: purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to individual ingredients, Emser® inhalation solution hypertonic 4% should not be used.

Application

The Emser® inhalation solution hypertonic 4% is a sterile aqueous solution with natural Emser salt.It is free of preservatives and can be used in suitable electric nebulizers.The solution is ready to use and is suitable for adults, teenagers and children aged 1 year and over.Please speak to a doctor before use on children under 6 years of age.

The inhalation solutions are not miscible with medicines containing ambroxol and bromhexine.Please note the instructions for use.
